Picking at scabs can lead to scarring or color loss. Wear loose, breathable clothing: Opt for loose-fitting clothing made of breathable fabric to prevent unnecessary friction and irritation on your healing tattoo. Avoid tight or synthetic materials that can rub against the tattooed area.
